Government and non-profit organizations that serve the citizens of Baltimore County have the opportunity to apply for grants to provide housing stability services. The Fund accepts applications from non-profit organizations led by blacks or based in black communities in the Baltimore metropolitan area and that provide goods or services that directly support black people and communities. It can be requested by any 501 (c) (non-profit) organization that provides services to residents of Baltimore County and that meets the requirements of the Maryland Department of Assessment and Taxation (SDAT). This is the third time that Baltimore County has partnered with the Baltimore Community Foundation to distribute grants to organizations in the county. In an effort to maintain housing stability and to help the citizens of Baltimore County remain in stable housing, the county has launched a new program.
This program aims to support organizations that respond to the public health emergency of COVID-19 or its economic impacts in Baltimore County.
