WSFA Announces Capcon 2008
 

The Washington Science Fiction Association (WSFA) is pleased to announce that the 8th annual Capclave will be held the weekend of October 17-19, 2008 at the Rockville Hilton and Executive Meeting Center at 1750 Rockville Pike, Rockville, MD. (Right next to the Twinbrook stop on the Metro Red Line).

This year's author guest of honor is James Morrow and the critic guest of honor is former Washington Post critic Michael Dirda. Capclave will have a number of workshops that may be of interest to your members. Allan Wold will be teaching his popular writers workshop; Jane Jewell, Executive Director of the Science Fiction and Fantasy Writers of America will be conducting a contracts workshop; Peter Hack will be teaching a reviewer's workshop; and Aly Parsons will be conducting a workshop on how to set up and maintain a writers' group.
