ESWA Meeting Offers Demonstration of Library Databases
The topic of the February meeting of the Eastern Shore Writers' Association (ESWA) is "Searching for Something? New Library Databases make it Easy to Find." St. Michaels Librarian Shauna Beulah will demonstrate the library's new databases, which are available to library system patrons at the library and from home. A database of book reviews that is searchable by genre and author name and offers discussion guides for book clubs will be among those being demonstrated. The meeting will be on Saturday, February 14 at 11:00 a.m. in the conference room of the St. Michaels Library, 106 Fremont St., in St. Michaels, MD. The meeting is free and open to the public. An optional lunch will follow the presentation. The Eastern Shore Writers' Association, a nonprofit, all-volunteer organization, has 170 members from Maryland, Delaware and Virginia.
