The Fifteenth Dame Lisbet Throckmorton Fiction Writing Contest, sponsored by Coffee House Fiction, is seeking to identify exceptionally talented writers.

Submission guidelines are available here. The entry fee is $17. An optional written evaluation of your entry is also available for $25. Short fiction entries must be postmarked by or received via email before midnight on January 31, 2010. Winners of the current contest will be posted on the site within ninety days of the submission deadline and will remain posted for at least four weeks. Authors retain all rights to their submitted work.

• First Place: $350 and 5 copies of the 2010 anthology
• Second Place: $125 and 2 copies of the 2010 anthology
• Third Place: $75 and 1 copy of the 2010 anthology
• Fourth Place: $50 and 1 copy of the 2010 anthology
